A key responsibility of this role is to build large data systems that support Large Language Model (LLM)-based services for Payments Risk. A successful candidate will be uncompromisingly detail oriented, efficient, and customer obsessed. Your work must be accurate, timely, and insightful. You must be a self-starter who is able to think big and work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. You will build sustainable and scalable analytics processes, and data systems that can be leveraged across Payments Risk.
Key job responsibilities
• Contribute to the architecture, design and implementation of large data pipelines to support LLM initiatives.
• Manage AWS resources including EC2, RDS, Redshift, Kinesis, EMR, Lambda etc.
• Collaborate with data scientists and SDEs to deliver high quality data architecture and pipelines.
• Interface with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of data sources
• Continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for customers
A day in the life
As a Data Engineer, you work with our stakeholders which includes Product/Program Managers, BA/BIE's, ML scientists and Investigators. You help build efficient data models and pipelines, build monitoring around data quality and freshness, and timely deep dive to resolve data quality issues. You will be the SME for any data related questions for all our stakeholders.
- 3+ years of data engineering experience
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience with SQL
