Job responsibilities

• Develop product vision and transform product strategy into market-ready products, while you navigate through and solve complex challenges.
• Manage discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap.
• Develop and maintain a product backlog that enables delivery of product roadmap and value proposition.
• Build a framework that defines key metrics for product success and measure outcomes against product goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Technology, Design, Data), build key relationships, and position the product to continuously deliver value to users.
• Guide agile product management by creating user stories and authoring detailed product specifications that align product features with unmet customer needs.
• Contribute to the testing strategy and provide direction that enables continuous integration and continuous delivery of software functionalities aligned with overall product strategy.
• Lead the completion of change management activities across cross-functional partners and ensures adherence to the firm’s risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage product delivery timelines and dependencies while monitoring blockers, ensuring adequate resourcing, and liaising with stakeholders and functional partners.
• Support and facilitate executive level updates highlighting wins, dependencies, risks, and issues where needed.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area.
• Demonstrated ability to execute operational management and change readiness activities.
• Strong understanding of delivery and a proven track record of implementing continuous improvement processes.
• Experienced in product lifecycle management or platform-wide release management, in addition to deployment processes and strategies.
• Understanding of data flows and data management techniques for diverse data types (e.g., reference data, structured/unstructured data, big data, etc.).
• Strong understanding of the process and practice of agile software development.
• Demonstrated ability to breakdown complex problems into manageable parts, construct achievable solutions, and guide implementation plans.
• Experienced in investigating and understanding business functions supported by technology platforms.
• Excellent organizational skills to effectively track and manage work in a fast-paced and complex environment.
• Extensive knowledge of AWS is a plus or certified AWS professional.
• Familiar working with Atlassian software development products: Bitbucket, Confluence, and Jira.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Python, PySpark, SQL,or another programming language for large-scale data processing in a work-related capacity is highly desired.
• Prior experience in building data architecture to source data from different systems, handling complex transformation and optimizing the end-to-end solution.
• Strong analytical skills in forecasting and interpreting results and comfortable working with large quantities of data.
• Experience in business analysis, process analysis/mapping, data governance or data analysis activities, with large, complex datasets.
• Familiar working with common data file formats: ASCII, Avro, CSV, JSON, and Parquet.
• Working knowledge of Oracle Exadata platform or another enterprise database platform.
• Strong diligence to ensure accuracy and precision in data analysis, documentation, and requirement gathering.
