Description
- The ability to autonomously identify opportunities and investment areas for the larger iCloud Data organization, that lead to better outcomes for iCloud;
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years in a leadership role for a data science team.
- 8+ years in a data science or analytics organization.
- High tolerance for ambiguity. Able to find a way through, anticipate, connect and synthesize.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills and experience communicating technical concepts to senior executive audiences in order to influence decisions with data.
- Ability to think about data in terms of statistical distributions and have a big enough analytics toolbox (e.g. Statistics, Machine Learning) to know how to find patterns in data, identify targets for performance, and identify sources of variance about those targets.
- Self-motivated and curious with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities, and an innate drive to improve how things work.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ years in a leadership role for a data science team.
- You have experience presenting to senior leadership (VP- to C-suite audiences).
- Advanced degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Physics, etc.
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $190,700 and $329,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
