The Power & Signal Integrity Group resides in Central Hardware System (CHS) Engineering of Qualcomm Technology Inc., a leader in wireless communication technology. Engineers in the Power & Signal Integrity Group work on various SOC and development platforms to help bring various leading-edge products to market.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform various IO analyses using established methodologies, potentially from model extraction through simulation and reporting of conclusions. IO types include LPDDR memory interfaces and variety of serial interfaces.

  • Apply established methodologies to analyze IO power distribution in product development and reference systems.

  • Create clear and complete documentation of results.

0 to 5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • LPDDR or DDR design and analysis

  • High speed serial IO design and analysis

  • Use of commercial SI or RF analysis tools

  • SPICE transient simulation including use of IBIS and IBIS AMI models

The following skills and experience are a plus:

  • Electromagnetic theory and transmission lines

  • Commercial 3D electromagnetic field solvers

  • Ansys, Cadence/Sigrity, Keysight, and MATLAB tools desirable.

  • Basic programming skills in Perl, Python, C, C+, or similar languages

Education:

  • Minimum of BS in Electrical Engineering or related discipline; MS preferred

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.

Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.

PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field.

Pay range:

$108,000.00 - $162,000.00
