Responsibilities:

• Performing of the statutory financial reporting process for selected EMEA entities, with focus on UK registered companies;
• Preparation of the statutory accounts of selected EMEA entities
• Active involvement in the external audit of the statutory accounts
• Review the work of other team members to ensure high quality documentation provided to the directors and external auditors
• Delivery of statutory accounts to directors, and liaison with the Company Secretarial department to set up related board meetings
• Subject matter expert of statutory financial reporting rules and disclosure requirements
• Liaisons with EMEA Accounting policy team in determining the accounting and reporting treatment of complex and unusual transactions

Ideal background:

• University/College degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics – ACCA qualification is an advantage
• 6-7 years of experience in financial auditing (internal or external) or financial reporting and accounting or controlling
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills in English
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Planning and organizational skills
