1st shift (United States of America)** This position is 100% on-site in Charlotte, NC **Manage video conferencing and meeting connectivity on multiple platforms for end-users on-site. May interact with production services, software systems engineering, applications support, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problem.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage conferencing and meeting connectivity on multiple platforms, including but not limited to: Zoom, Webex, Teams
  • Oversee multiple work efforts simultaneously, managing and coordinating with M365 engineering, and unified communications engineering including high-level designs, low-level designs, testing plans, implementation plans and production turnover.
  • Interact with counterparts in engineering, application development, configuration management, quality assurance (QA), production support, and other technical and business partners.
  • Ensure the development and documentation of policies, procedures, standards and technical infrastructure that support the mission of the group.
  • Provide documentation and training to allow for the turnover of the technical solutions to the IT operational teams for daily support.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments and solutions that deal with conferencing and collaboration trends.
  • Coach and mentor junior teammates for success.
  • Manage escalated issues.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, related field, or equivalent education and related training
  • 6 years of experience or equivalent proficiency in application analysis and design
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or as a member of a team
  • Ability to direct and train other team associates
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of progressive work experience with collaboration products and platforms, including, but not limited to Microsoft Teams, Teams Admin Center, Teams Live, Stream, Cisco Webex, Cisco Webex Control Hub, video conferencing units (Cisco/Microsoft/Neat/Poly)
  • Extensive experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining video conferencing devices (Microsoft Teams Rooms/Cisco/Poly)
  • Ability to learn new technology and produce training and operational guides
  • Familiarity with video endpoints, including how to plan, build and run Cisco Room OS video conferencing endpoints and Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR)
  • Audio/Visual production experience with staging, lighting, run of show, calling the show, audio and camera experience a plus, as well as eagerness to listen & learn.
  • Familiarity with A/V equipment such as Crestron, Sound Control Technologies, Tricaster, Biamp, Shure, Projectors (such as Epson, NEC), BrightSign players
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow
  • Maintain a proactive, positive, and efficient attitude always to support all levels of teammates up to and including Executive Leaders.
  • Local and regional travel as required for tech support, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Must have a sense of URGENCY to resolve problems/issues encountered.
  • Navigates ambiguity and works well under pressure
  • Ability to follow as well as create streamlined business processes.
  • Strong written, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage time accordingly including task prioritization.
