What you'll do...
What you'll do:
- Implement overall design, monitoring, and optimization of company databases.
- Provide technical expertise and thought leadership to help accelerate adoption of the very best engineering practices, while maintaining knowledge on industry innovations, trends, and practices.
- Collaborating with project teams and cross functional teams. Troubleshooting open issues and bug-fixes, ensuring on-time delivery and hand-offs. Interacting with project managers to provide input on project plan.
- Provide guidance and drive operational and engineering excellence for reliability, alerting/monitoring, and database platform health
What you'll bring:
- 7+ years’ experience IT infrastructure / Technology experience
- 5+ years working as a DBA with either SQL Server or other RDBMS products
- 4+ years of experience in cloud platforms such Azure or GCP
- Experience with database tuning, performance, backup and recovery strategies, patching, migration strategies going from one database product to another, etc..
- Engineering experience for automating internal processes with Java, Python, Powershell, etc..

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
