You will play a critical role in ensuring these coreservices are established, maintained and operate flawlessly to ensure smoothand secure operations for our business.You will report directly to the Operations andInfrastructure Leader who is also responsible for Workplace EmployeeExperience, Data Center, Networking & Cloud, Operations Technology and SiteIT Support. This role will work out of our Morris Plains, Charlotte or Houstonlocation on a hybrid work schedule.Inthis role, you will manage a technical team of IT specialists to ensure thereliability, security, and scalability of our foundational infrastructureincluding the network, data center & colo compute, cloud and related ITservices in our technology landscape. You will be instrumental in driving theorganization's infrastructure technology strategies and projects, aligning themwith our business objectives. Your leadership will ultimately enhance ourcompetitive edge and operational efficiency. By mentoring and managing a teamof IT professionals, you'll foster growth, development, and innovation withinthe organization. Your contributions will play a key role in shaping the futureof technology at Honeywell and maintaining our position as a global technologyleader.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set the mission, vision, and strategy of the data center and cloud team to maximize the success of business and IT enterprise initiatives.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and management of datacenter / colo facilities to ensure high availability, reliability, and efficiency.
- Lifecycle management for Infrastructure & Network h/w, s/w, Firmware, and Operating Systems.
- Introduce innovative, differentiating infrastructure and operations capabilities that enhance our overall competitive capabilities and enhance employee productivity.
- Build successful stakeholder relationships with other IT and business leaders by developing a clear understanding of business needs, acting as a trusted partner, and ensuring cost-effective delivery of IT services to meet those needs.
- Focus on Operational Excellence, Business Engagement, Planning, and Cost Management that includes communication and transparency.
- Collaborate with the Security team to ensure Infrastructure contributes to, embraces, and applies security strategy.
- Operate in a formal governance mechanism to establish and monitor effective controls for the processes and functions performed by the data center and cloud team.
- Develop and control the annual budget to ensure that it's consistent with the overall strategic objectives of IT and the enterprise and is within plan. Creates a culture of continuous cost optimization.
- Manage vendor relationships for Infrastructure h/w, s/w, Network, and Cloud.
- Manage quarterly scheduled maintenance windows with business leaders.
- Continuously evaluate the business value of Infrastructure, including the use of metrics such as Key Performance
- Indicators, Outcome Driven Metrics and Objectives and Key Results.
- Work with HR and the IT leadership team to develop and execute workforce plans that ensure Infrastructure team can supply skilled resources to meet demand.
- Work collaboratively with direct reports to support their career progression, nurture their development and to help them realize their potential.
This position is intended to convey to the new, independent company, to be named Solstice Advanced Materials when the separation occurs. This is expected to occur in late 2025 or early 2026.
YOU MUST HAVE- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field
- 8+ years of progressive IT datacenter and cloud technology management experience
- 8+ years of progressive IT leadership roles, including people management.
- Excellent knowledge of Azure & AWS cloud services.
- Knowledge of datacenter consolidation and experience in migration to cloud.
- Knowledge of ITIL and IT Service Management.
- Experience managing and planning a complex operating budget
- Ability to travel occasionally – approximately 15%
