As a Transactions Specialist IV on the Securities team you will be responsible for receiving physical 3rd party company ownership shares and interests, reviewing the documentation for accuracy and storing it at our JPMorgan Chase site location. You will also be responsible for directly communicating any escalations- this includes individuals within Chase as well as the shareholder.

Job responsibilities

  • Performing custodial review of securities documents in accordance with agency / investor guidelines. On-line procedures are used to ensure that documents are reviewed to current requirements.
  • Accurately intake, sort, reinstate and release physical securities files and documents.
  • Possess the ability to interact with internal and external customers as well as all levels of management.
  • Accurately documenting file review results in securities tracking system, Tracking and reconciling daily work and performing other duties as assigned.
  • Maintaining production and quality standards to ensure that reviews are completed timely and accurately.
  • Adhering to overtime requirements when necessary as the timely review of physical securities is critical to the transfer of loans, includes possible Saturdays when volumes dictate
  • Possess excellent independent judgment, time management, and organizational skills to consistently meet deliverables.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • High School diploma
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities effectively and efficiently
  • Positive attitude and a strong commitment to customer service
  • Self-motivated with the ability to think independently, ability to organize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; must work well in a team environment
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good analytical skills and ability to meet goals, basic excel / computer skills
  • Ability to move carts loaded with files, lift boxes of files, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Prefer strong knowledge of mortgage documents
  • Performs transactions and tasks with moderate to advanced complexity
