SAP BTP Multi Cloud Delivery and DC Buildout Team is responsible for defining cloud operations, thereby ensuring that our customers who require a sovereign environment and data sensitivity are offered an SAP BTP Sovereign Cloud solution. We drive and execute SAP BTP Sovereign as well as Restricted cloud strategy. We also define the BTP portfolio required for national Sovereign clouds and align BTP portfolio with national security and secrecy requirements. To drive the development and deployment of Multi Cloud based solutions including but not limited to Private, Restricted or Sovereign Clouds, we are looking for an enthusiastic Product Security Senior Specialist who will apply Cloud security expertise to identify, assess, evaluate & control security requirements as they relate to enterprise systems, applications, data, assets and people across multiple Cloud environments.

What you will do:

As a Product Security Senior Specialist, you will work on the development of technical requirements, architecture, design and testing of cloud security requirements. You will represent the business unit in audits and compliance activities and work closely with the security organizations.

You will act as a central contact for security related questions and incident reports and establish a secure programming mindset in the development teams.

You will identify potential areas of security improvements in design or implementation and will work closely and continuously with teams including Development, Security and Quality Assurance to ensure that delivered solutions are highly secure.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or related field 7 - 12 years of experience in designing & implementing security controls for cloud Infrastructure like AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Knowledge and experience in implementing security concepts for SAP Hana Cloud, SAP Analytic Cloud, Cloud Foundry, SAP Cloud Integration.
• Operational experience deploying and supporting security solution in (IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS).
• Extensive background and knowledge of SaaS applications, Proxy/API architecture, Cloud security, Identity Access Management, Data Compliance Management, SSO.
• Knowledge of SAP BTP security services and/or on-premises security products is a plus.
• Expertise in software development with one or more programming languages (e.g. Golang, Python, Ruby, Java or the like), understanding of the concepts, as well as the willingness to share and grow this knowledge.
• Strong software security and / or operational security knowledge (e.g., threat modelling, code review, vulnerability testing, secure programming). Good skills in project management, analytical thinking, problem solving and presentation.
