Overview of the Organization:

Overview of Chief Information Security Office (CISO):

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Businesses, Functions and Technology /Tech staff on the remediation of Vulnerabilities and un-secure configurations.
  • Execute Pre-production Security assessments and proactive risk reduction initiatives.
  • Work with Cyber Architects for design patterns for business-specific use cases.
  • Work with Information Security Officers on the documentation of Issue and Corrective Action Plans.
  • Support Security Operation Center and the Intelligence Center in the investigation of security Events.
  • Support Cyber Security Fusion Center in identifying the business impact of Cyber events and drive business/tech related activities in Cyber incident response lifecycle.
  • Support Cyber-Exercise Team in exercise planning, execution and Lessons Learned activities resolution.
  • Perform root cause and trend analysis of security incidents.
  • Drive Cyber awareness in business/tech and act as liaison between CFSC Client & Engagement (C&E) and business/tech in delivering client-centric products.
  • Participate and support Client meetings, tours, and workshops.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity incidents, threats, and technologies.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience as a Cyber Security professional or in a similar role.
  • Additional technical certifications are preferred (ex: CISSP, CEH, GIAC, etc).
  • Proficiency in using Cybersecurity tools and technologies, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint protection and others.
  • In-depth understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and guidelines, such as NIST, ISO 27001. OWASP, etc.
  • Extensive knowledge of information security specifically in application SDLC as well as risk assessment methodologies, tools, and industry standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to research and apply current information regarding the IS field.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
  • Proven influencing and relationship management skills.
  • Proven analytical skills.

  • Ability to work at both a strategic and tactical level, focusing on the broader picture while driving execution.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, determine prioritization, and work under minimal supervision.
  • Awareness of latest Information Security risks.
  • Comfort working in a highly global, diverse, and hybrid (office and virtual) work environment.
  • Project management skills, ability to organize and prioritize activities, and report on those activities at an executive level.
  • Strong risk analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of business, regulatory, and compliance requirements in the financial services industry

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
