PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

As a Frontend Angular Developer, you will design, develop, and test user interface solutions for SAP Commerce Cloud using Angular. You will collaborate with UX designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders to create responsive, scalable applications. Your tasks include developing new features, building reusable components, ensuring UI/UX design feasibility, and optimizing for speed and scalability. You will also maintain and enhance existing applications, troubleshoot issues, and stay updated with industry trends. Your role is crucial in delivering a seamless, engaging user experience for our customers.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

· Work together with our product owner and stakeholders within the software organization to ensure continuous improvement of our software releases and developer experience.

· Design, develop, and test user interface solutions for SAP Commerce Cloud using Angular.

· Collaborate closely with UX designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders.

· Develop new user-facing features and build reusable components and libraries.

· Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.

· Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

· Maintain and enhance existing applications.

· Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.

· Stay up to date with the latest industry trends in frontend development.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

· Relevant university degree and 7+ years proven experience as a Frontend Software Engineer.

· Expert-level proficiency in Angular 15+ and TypeScript, with references highlighting your contribution to product success.

· Strong understanding of modern web development practices such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

· Proven track record of building and scaling large, complex web applications.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.

· Experience in effectively working in multi-location team.

· Strong and in-depth understanding of modern web development frameworks such as React, Vue, Svelte, SAP UI5.

· Proven ability to for technical leadership, ability to understand, design and effectively communicate software architecture.

· Proof of past work or open-source contributions in GitHub

WORK EXPERIENCE

7+ years of experience in frontend development with a track record of Angular 15+ projects
