Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • fostering a culture of operational excellence andcontinuous

  • architects,and product stakeholders to embedreliabilityand scalability principles intoapplication design and implementation.

  • opportunities to improve the cloud infrastructure and systems and build multi-yearcloud strategy and roadmap for the organization.

  • Define and implement best practices to ensure system availability,scalability,and observability

  • Build best practices to analyzeend-to-end system performance and drive processes that continuously improve latencyanduptime

  • Ensure cloud infrastructure meets security, risk and compliance standards, and act as the lead to complete internal and external audits andcompliance

  • Drive automation to improve cloud infrastructure configuration management, DevOps efficiency,state andchangemanagement

  • Define best practices for Disaster recovery processes and improve Data backup and recovery strategies

  • Act as a liaison to manage externalthird-partyvendor relations and work with finance team tomanage vendor contracts.

  • Advocate for a culture of continuouslearning, effective root causeanalysis, and blameless postmortemsto minimize downtime and prevent recurring issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's orMaster'sdegree in computer science,engineering,orrelated fields.

  • 10+ years of experience in software development, SRE, or DevOps with 3+ years in a leadership role

  • expertiseand hands-on experience in cloudplatforms(GCP, AWS, Azure etc.), preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

  • Strong knowledge of container orchestrationplatforms(Kubernetes, GKE, Docker)

  • Hands-on experience withInfrastructure-as-code(Terraform, CloudFormation), CI/CD pipelines(CircleCI, Jenkins, Harness,ArgoCD),and automation scripting (Python, Go, Bash)

  • in monitoring and observability tools and platforms (Datadog, Grafana, Splunk)

  • Deep understanding of incident management,capacityplanning and performance engineering

  • Familiarity with FinOps principles, Chaos engineering, andDisaster recovery (DR) strategies

Skills:

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to build andmaintainrelationships with external partners and developers.
