  • -Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, advising on the implementation of new legal technologies and automation tools.
  • Manage legal risks and safeguard PayPal's legal interests, developing comprehensive risk management frameworks.
  • Represent PayPal in litigation and other legal proceedings, leading case strategies and ensuring effective representation.

Expected Qualifications:

  • 8+ years relevant experience and a Juris doctorate degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 12 years of relevant work experience and a Juris doctorate or equivalent degree

Preferred Qualification:

  • Significant work experience in product privacy counseling, privacy compliance, and in supporting privacy and data-sharing terms in contractual agreements.
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. and internationallegalstatutes and regulations in privacy and data protection, and particular expertise in GLBA, GDPR, and U.S. state privacy laws.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionablelegalguidance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
  • Comfortable operating in a dynamic, evolving environment with shifting priorities and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated interest in PayPal, digital finance, and the broader payments ecosystem

The US national annual pay range for this role is $152,500 to $262,350
