The Datacenter Operations Technology Engineer is responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of data center operations. They are accountable for the maintenance and upkeep of the data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, and security systems. The role requires a strong understanding of data center operations, as well as the ability to work with a team of technicians and engineers.

You will

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the data center, ensuring that all facility-supporting systems are running smoothly.
• Work with a team of technicians and engineers to ensure that all data center infrastructure is well maintained and kept up to date.
• Support incidents during & post business hours to coordinate appropriate resolution.
• Develop, document, and implement policies and procedures for data center operations.
• Monitor and report on data center performance, identifying areas for improvement.
• Work with other teams to ensure that data center operations are aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure that all data center operations comply with relevant regulations and standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or a related field.
• At least 4-6 years of experience in data center operations.
• Proficiency in operating data center or building facility infrastructure, including power, cooling, and security systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
