Our Program Management group is seeking a
Bronx, NY.You’ll provide effective, skilled project management to help reduce the costs of delivering projects and adding value to the business by applying proven project management techniques. As a Project Engineer you’ll have an opportunity to work on active projects coordinating the progression of trades and design-field staff. You will participate in meetings and follow projects from commencing of construction to completion. You’ll also provide support to the Project team by developing and maintaining project cost/change controls, project budget, change order estimates/negotiations, tracking submittals, RFI’s, and support resolution of field issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Project Engineer in an Architectural, Engineering or Construction organization
- Experience with RFI tracking, contract document review, forecast and cost scheduling, preparation of change order review and the review of payments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher, and Microsoft Project)
- Experience working with scheduling software
- OSHA 10 certification or the ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
- Willing and able to work onsite with the project team the client’s location Monday - Friday
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- U.S. healthcare facility or other medical facility construction experience
- Experience in capital project improvement and development program management
- Some level of experience using industry Project Management Control Systems (PMCS), such as eBuilder, Unifier, ProjectSight (Formerly Prolog), Procore, etc.
