Your key responsibilities
- Ensure that the business is provided with best IT Data Warehousing, BI, ERP & CRM solutions, while also managing & developing internal staff and key 3rd party relationships
- Advise, design, and implement data management strategies and operating plans
- Build and document the target architecture thatcontributes tooperational data storage and data warehouse, fed by a combination of near real-time event streams and batch data sources
- Design, develop and implement data strategy, data collection, transformation, data integration, data visualization & data analytics solutions
- Design & oversee the development of data and & analytics solutions, automated tests, documentation, & related processes to meet and exceed the requirements of the business
- You'll have the ability to build long term relationships with internal and external influencers and stakeholders, cultivating business development opportunities
- Manage, develop, prioritize & recommend initiatives to improve & build upon the data & BI architecture to support the business. Be a leader in the comprehensive data governance initiatives
- Be a positive mentor to the broader technology teams on the importance of a data-driven approach
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent Architecture frameworks e.g., TOGAF, plus at least 6+ years of experience in a customer-facing role in a large consulting firm or in the industry.
- Proven experience, 7+ years as a Data Architect, Solutions Architect, or similar role in a consulting environment.
- Strong expertise in data modelling, database design, and SQL, with experience in multiple database platforms.
- Strong experience in database architecture using relational and non-relations databases, including but not limited to, Oracle, MS SQL Server, MongoDB, and Cassandra.
- Extensive knowledge of data integration techniques, processes, and data warehouse design.
- Knowledge of cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure. Familiar with cloud-based data storage, data processing and data security options.
- Strong ability to solve problems, troubleshoot, analyze, and map processes.
- Clear and effective communication for explaining complex data structures and systems to non-technical team members, stakeholders, and clients, and to efficiently liaise with other teams within the organization.
- Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to lead and mentor a team of consultants and drive successful project outcomes.
Ideally, you will also have:
- Degree emphasis in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, MIS or Mathematics desired; master's degree in one of these areas preferred.
- Automation-related certifications, including Solution Architect, Business production utilizing automation tools
- Good understanding or experience in programming (including scripting/coding), and application development with process analysis, design, and implementation of business and technical requirements
- Experience with supporting software production environments and management of support teams
- Experience with Cloud-based infrastructure setup, especially in the context of automation implementations
- Experience in AI, Gen AI, automation and modeling a plus
- Data management certified
- Cloud based data engineering certified
