As a Wealth Management, Single Coverage Client Advisor, Executive Director in the SEA Market team at JP Morgan, you will be responsible for supporting and managing all aspects of client relationships across the team. You will operate in both banker and investor capacity, handle and coordinate with various teams on account inquiries and investment-related aspects, and deliver strategic messages to your portfolio. You will also collaborate with other team members to provide high-quality client service and ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal policies.
Job Responsibilities
- Support and manage all aspects of client relationships across the team; develop and maintain long-term relationships through professional/personal networks and contacts.
- Operate in both banker and investor capacity, and handle/coordinate with various teams on both overall account inquiries/maintenance as well as on investment-related aspects.
- Articulate and deliver strategic messages to their portfolio, prepare presentations and proposals, and take both solicited and unsolicited orders in all asset classes. Update clients regularly on markets, portfolio performance, investments opportunities, risks.
- Partner with the client including (but not limited to) updating Know Your Client (KYC) information, client suitability profile, hosting client meetings, monitoring funds/asset transfer and handling client ad-hoc queries.
- Collaborate with the other integrated team members to provide a high quality of client service.
- Keeping track of Clients, Assets Under Management (AUM) and Revenues using our internal systems; periodic calculation of account performance.
- Work together with other teams in meeting all compliance, regulatory, risk management, operational, and due diligence requirements and compliance with internal policies.
Required Qualifications, Skills And Capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in wealth management space, along with strong client and stakeholder management skills is required.
- Extensive experience and proven track record in acquisition success for SEA market, particularly in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and/or Thailand markets, and well-versed across all asset classes and investment products.
- Strong knowledge of Wealth Management business with deep understanding on Compliance, Risk and Regulatory frameworks.
- As the role is an important contributor to the strategy of JP Morgan, comfort and experience working with and reporting to senior management is required.
- Experience in managing relationships both with clients and internal partners across multiple countries and regions to drive our sales agenda.
- Dynamic team player who is self-motivated and possesses strong interpersonal skills, showcasing the ability to proactively engage multiple stakeholders at all levels of seniority to drive our sales agenda and operate with strong sense of urgency.
- Candidates must have a willingness to travel frequently.
Preferred Qualifications, Skills And Capabilities
- Appropriate local regulatory qualification and licenses preferred.
- If you do not possess an existing Representatives Notification Framework (RNF) Register in Singapore, you will be required to sit for Client Advisor Competency Standards (CACS) Paper 1 & 2.
- This is in order to gest registered as a Representative with Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) for the private banking industry.
