As a Staff Technical Program Manager, you will join the Global Workload Services team within the Information Security & Infrastructure department.
In this role you will leverage your experience to help implement & drive projects relating to IT resiliency (DR and BCP) & workload services across GE HealthCare. This role requires a blend of technical proficiency, program management expertise, and strategic risk mitigation to drive DR and workload services initiatives across a global IT landscape.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage complex, cross-functional IT programs focused on infrastructure, cloud computing, and workload optimization across global environments.

  • Develop and implement scalable workload management strategies to optimize performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness in IT operations.

  • Ensure seamless integration of DR plans with multi-cloud and hybrid IT environments (AWS, Azure, SaaS, On-Prem).

  • Collaborate with IT operations, cloud architects, and infrastructure teams to enhance workload distribution and failover strategies.

  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and service-level agreements (SLAs) for IT workload services and DR effectiveness

  • Define execution methodologies and project management practices to be followed by all projects within the program

  • Organize project teams comprising from internal and external technical and functional experts based on budget, scope and timeline

  • Support execution team with resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies. Partner with technical and functional teams external to the project to ensure their tasks are completed as required

Key Qualifications

  • Program/Project Management methodologies & Tools

  • PMP or related Project Management certifications

  • Strong multi-platform Technical Background

  • IT Disaster Recovery Plans

  • Lean Six sigma & ISO Certifications

Education Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with advanced experience.

  • Overall 12+ experience in IT Domain with IT project/program management & operational delivery and service support.

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience managing enterprise workload migration and optimization projects.

  • Strong understanding and knowledge of various project and portfolio management methodologies with track record of implementing shared standards for large organizations

  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks (ISO 22301, NIST, SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR).

  • Experience working in large-scale, globally distributed IT environments

  • Prior experience managing IT operations and support
