Duties: Review and oversee changes in the production database software environment and ensure that database standards and tools are implemented as per global standards. Database administration using Oracle, SQL Servers, PostgreSQL, and Mongo. Use replication software Golden Gate, SharePlex. Analyze incident and performance metrics, and capacity of production database environments for storage and operating system resources. Create project plans, perform impact analyses, work on high impact projects, and provide resolutions to restore services. Provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA) post restoration of service. Coordinate with Database Administrators and Application Support teams for database change management. Engage in vendor resource management and engagement, production support operations, and Informational Technology Infrastructure Library database automation. Cloud platform management. Design testing approaches, complex processes, reporting streams, and assist with the automation of repetitive tasks. Review requirement documents, define hardware requirements and update processes and procedures as necessary. Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsible for applications dealing with the overall operating system and conduct project related research. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in any field and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as Database Manager, Operations Manager, ITIL, Computer Programmer, System Analyst, Principal Consultant, Principal Infrastructure Engineer or related position involving Oracle databases, performance metrics and capacity management. 6 years of experience must include: Database Administration using Oracle, SQL Servers, PostgreSQL, Mongo; Replication software Golden Gate, SharePlex; Cloud platform management; Automation; Change management; Incident, performance and capacity management; and Vendor management. Wage Range: $147,991.55 to $184,683.91
