You will beresponsible and accountable to the IPB Chief Technology Officer for the identification, progression and delivery into production of IPB AI/ML use cases.
Job responsibilities
- Advises and leads on the strategy and development of multiple products, applications, and technologies across a portfolio
- Advises on the technical feasibility and business need for AI/ML use cases and writes IPB AI/ML business cases
- Guides and advises IPB developers through the Machine Learning Development Lifecycle (MDLC)
- Advises on cross-border implications, including national caveats and regulatory constraints and Data Privacy implications
- Liaises with firm wide AI/ML stakeholders
- Oversees the broader education of IPB developers in AI/ML development
- Creates novel code solutions and drives the development of new production code capabilities across teams and functions
- Translates highly complex technical issues, trends, and approaches to leadership to drive the firm’s innovation and enable leaders to make strategic, well-informed decisions about technology advancements
- Drives adoption and implementation of technical methods in specialized fields in line with the latest product development methodologies
- Influences across business, product, and technology teams and successfully manages senior stakeholder relationships
- Champions the firm’s culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering* concepts and expert applied experience
- Advanced proficiency in Python developmental toolsets
- Experience in Natural Language Processing including Large Language Models
- Experience in building, evaluating and deploying Machine learning Models into Production
- Advanced proficiency in Python developmental toolsets
- Practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Demonstrated prior experience with influencing across functions and teams and delivering value at scale
- Experience applying expertise and new methods to determine solutions for complex technology problems across various technical disciplines
- Extensive practical cloud native experience
- BSc in Computer Science or related field
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Post graduate-level qualification in data science, artificial intelligence, or machine learning
- Experience within financial services technology
