About the Role

You will be responsible for an org of ~30 people (3 EMs), with teams in the Bay Area and in Bangalore. These teams handle all functions related to Enterprise Payments, including but not limited to Billing & Invoicing, Collections, Onboarding, and tooling to support all functions. You'll also work closely with PMs, TPMs, and other engineering leaders across the Payments Platform. You are expected to go deep on the domain and the projects and programs that drive our key success metrics, as well as have a solid technical understanding of our systems as well as the upstream and downstream dependencies.

- - - - Basic Qualifications ----

1. 5+ years as an Engineering Manager, with 2+ years managing other Managers
2. Proven ability to build, manage, and motivate teams to do their best work
3. 7+ years as a Software Engineer, preferably working with complex, distributed systems

- - - - Preferred Qualifications ----

1. Experience in B2B domain, preferably in Payments, with an understanding of the needs of a business end user and traditional business processes (e.g. OTC, AP/AR, Invoices)
2. Track record of exceptional execution and delivery while sustaining a healthy pace and not burning out teams
3. Strong collaboration and stakeholder management, with a passion for getting to the best outcome for everyone

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$257,000 per year - USD$285,500 per year.

For Sunnyvale, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$257,000 per year - USD$285,500 per year.
