In this role, you will:
- Serve as the primary resource to various internal groups (e.g., sales) and advisors regarding product and investment strategy inquiries
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the portfolio managers and partner to the business leaders
- Partner with Regional Managers and Regional Consultants to build relationships with advisors and centers of influence
- Provide a deep understanding of the investment process, global market outlook, and strong advocate for the services
- Attends and presents at industry conferences and client specific events related to the product category of focus
- Leverages client and sales team feedback to support product health assessments and drive ongoing product improvements and positioning
- Translates views, positioning, strategies from their aligned desk to enhance impact in thought leadership, marketing collateral, and client engagements
- Deliver advisor education and training on direct indexing as well as other Equity Optimization service offerings
- Identify, develop and cultivate a high quality, sophisticated client base across distribution channels, and geographies
- Preserve investment team time by providing product specialist services, cultivating and maintaining an intimate understanding of the portfolio and investment philosophy and process
- Provide support to the existing advisor base via routine and ad hoc client service efforts; ability to independently communicate performance attribution, portfolio design and structure, asset allocation, etc.
- Monitor and actively report on competitor and product trends
- Act as a liaison between the distribution team and marketing support teams regarding client requests, new business development (Finals/Request For Proposal/Request For Information, etc.), cash flows and marketing materials
- Partner with team’s investment writer to contribute to commentary and thought leadership, with a mind for continual enhancement of messaging
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Business Growth Strategy experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in portfolio management, equity investing, or financial consulting
- An active Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation
- Successfully completed FINRA Series 65 exam to qualify for immediate registration (or FINRA recognized equivalents)
- Strong interpersonal skills to cultivate relationships internally and externally
- Understanding of the equity market trends and the competitive landscape
- Strong knowledge of equity markets, valuation techniques, and risk management
- Business growth consulting experience
- Effective communication skills to clearly articulate the team’s investment process, differentiated approach and competitive edge
- Entrepreneurial approach with a desire to build a top-tier investment franchise
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field

- Registration for FINRA Series 65 (or must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
