BBC CBS (Channel 2 Quality Support) / Assistant Director:

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize technical, service line, and infrastructure knowledge to identify and help resolve policy and procedure issues, violations and concerns
  • Understand key firm policies and be knowledgeable of other quality and risk management areas outside of your core responsibilities
  • Keep abreast of emerging issues; coordinate and/or support training presentations to communicate new developments and the resulting impacts
  • Make recommendations based on firm guidance, professional standards and acquired experience
  • Develop relationships and build a network of people within the team and across the firm
  • Maintenance of engagement agreement templates
  • Assist consulting service line quality lead with engagement lifecycle tracking
  • Field queries from engagement teams related to client & engagement acceptance/ continuance & policy
  • Review of draft client and engagement acceptance forms prior to service line quality lead
  • Review of draft statements of work prior to service line quality lead
  • Ad hoc projects, including automation of quality processes, P&P, guidance, FAQs, etc.
  • Archiving compliance tracking
  • Coordination of Deal Reviews, Restructuring Engagement Acceptance & Oversight (REAOC), etc.
  • An enhanced understanding on EY global QRM policies

Required experience/skills/attributes:

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience; prior relevant experience in a public accounting firm Is strongly preferred
  • An internationally recognized industry relevant designation in either the risk management or compliance areas would be beneficial
  • Strong knowledge of advisory services and anti-money laundering regulations; experience within the legal field would be a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong research and project management skills with attention to detail
  • The successful candidate must have the ability to work a flexible schedule as overtime and travel may be required, as well as a dedication to teamwork and integrity within a professional environment.
