Managed Services (MSE) is responsible for keeping the network running and proposing / conducting network upgrades based on business requirements. Covers technical managing and operating of agreed components of IT and telecommunications services provided to end users of Nokia customers, within contracts agreed with those customers.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
  • Splunk administration.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving Splunk infrastructure issues, with a strong focus on Splunk IT Service Intelligence (ITSI).
  • Efficiently writing complex SPL queries and creating meaningful dashboards and reports.
  • Implement and manage Splunk ITSI for Event Management, including the design and configuration of correlation searches and KPI-based alerting.
  • Develop and maintain service and entity definitions within ITSI.
  • Integrate and manage ITSM APIs and CMDB to ensure accurate and timely data flow.
  • Utilize the Grafana Stack for advanced visualization and monitoring solutions.
  • Maintain and administer Linux systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Develop scripts and tools to automate workflows and processes, enhancing efficiency and reducing manual efforts.
  • Perform administrative functions for tools, including keeping documentation current and handling service requests.
  • Provide 24x7 on-call L3 support on a rotational schedule with other team members.
  • Participate in user training sessions to increase awareness and proficiency in Splunk usage.
  • Ensure timely resolution of incident, problem, and change tickets, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of Splunk ITSI with other monitoring and management tools.

  • Minimum 4-5 yrs experience in Splunk Administration
  • Splunk Certification (Splunk Power User, Splunk Admin, Splunk ITSI).
  • In-depth knowledge of ITIL Event Management and Incident Management processes.
  • Proficient with Splunk ITSI and its application in Event Management.
  • Experience designing and managing correlation searches and KPI-based alerting within Splunk ITSI.
  • Familiarity with ITSM API and CMDB management.
  • Strong understanding and practical experience with the Grafana Stack for visualization and monitoring.
  • Solid Linux administration skills.
  • Scripting and development capabilities in multiple languages, such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Fluency in English with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
