What You’ll Do

Upon accepting this position, you will join a team whose focus is to develop innovative solutions for our cloud and on-premise Provider Connectivity Assurance product. Your role will be on an existing feature team of amazing engineers, and you will work with them to iteratively design, implement, test, and deliver code. You will support and triage issues reported from the field, diagnosing bugs and non-functional issues, and deliver long-term solutions to these issues. Along with the rest of your feature team, you will own micro-services and shape their future and the future of our product. As a technical leader, you will be relied upon to make critical technical decisions with the full support of the organization behind you.

Our minimum Basic Qualifications for this role

• 5+ years of backend development in micro-service architectures
• Ability to program professionally in Golang; we also program in Scala with Apache Spark
• Experience working with databases; we use CouchDB, Druid, Elasticsearch, HDFS, and Postgres
• Experience working with various interservice communication technologies; we use Kafka, REST APIs, WebSocket, and gRPC
• Proficiency engineering software using modern techniques; we use continuous delivery, DevOps, and an agile methodology

Our Preferred Qualifications for this role

• Multiple years of experience working with the technologies listed above in our software stack
• Experience as a technical leader
• Knowledge of networking
• Familiarity with environments that have security and federal compliance requirements
• Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes
