The Native Engineering teamis responsible forleading and building the core experience of Copilot on iOS and Android, while collaborating with our Product Management, Design and AI Research teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related technical discipline AND2+ years technical engineering experiencedeveloping mobile applications for Android platformswith coding in languages including, but not limited to,Swift,Kotlin, Objective-C, or Java
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Working knowledge of mobile application architecture, design patterns, and UI/UX principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in developing iOS and/or Android applications from the ground up, witha track recordof achieving a high number of downloads andmaintaininga large base of active users.
  • Contributions to open-source projects.
    • GitHub repositories will be reviewed as part of the application process.
  • Demonstratedwritten and verbal communication skillswith the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers.
  • Passion for learningnew technologiesand staying up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in mobile development and AI.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and contribute to a positive, inclusive work environment, fostering knowledge sharing and growth within the team.
Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.
