As a Network Delivery Architect II, you will be collaborating with multiple teams to understand deployment requirements from a technical and business perspective. Together you will evaluate Akamai product needs and how to fulfil those in the internet ecosystem

As a Network Delivery Architect II, you will be responsible for:

  • Building and designing performant and scalable infrastructure to meet the traffic targets of the business
  • Coordinating deployment strategy and system changes, participating in timeline planning and release schedules, ensuring deliverables are met
  • Collaborating within the team and cross-functional teams to propose, plan and deploy new technology and processes
  • Identifying and working to resolve problems and improve efficiency in the network
  • Participating in architectural design discussions and planning sessions
  • Monitoring and planning IntraCity/InterCity connectivity by collaborating with Network Architects to address congestion and performance issues

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Be able to analyze data, provide actionable solutions and thought leadership to internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrate experience with SQL or similar query languages
  • Demonstrate experience in handling projects with an ability to communicate risks and manage multiple stakeholders and priorities
  • Be curious, and able to learn technical concepts and communicate them to a range of audiences
