A successful candidate in this role will be working with a talented and diverse group of experts in the area of semiconductor process integration, inspection and metrology to understand and prioritize requirements for the digital twin. These requirements then need to be worked with software and model development team members in ultimately coming up with robust process emulation and physical simulation software solutions.

  • The job scope is broad and includes developing and implementing highly efficient androbust algorithms,models and data processing routines, developing software requirements from marketing requirements, detailed software designs, initial prototype and later production code including both front end GUI and backend algorithm, unit testsand integrated testcases, maintaining released versions, etc.
  • Experience and proven ability in providing computational 3D software solutions in an R&D and production environment is essential.
  • The candidate must bring a high level of energy and willingness to work with other engineers in a fast-paced, agile and energetic team environment.
  • Hands-on software engineering position with the potential for leading and managing the program.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD or MS in engineering, mathematics, physics, or computer science related to 3D simulation, scientific computing, or semiconductors
  • Minimum 2 years professional software engineering experience, preferably developing a 3D simulation software product
  • Direct experience with the implementation of both 3D physical simulation and geometric algorithms, such as finite-element, finite-volume, ray-tracing, polygon manipulation or level sets.
  • Experience or strong interest in managing people and/or projects
  • Strong background in modern C++ programming, HPC, graphic accelerators and/or web-based software engineering
  • Strong fundamental math skills, including linear algebra, calculus, and geometry
  • Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts
  • Experience developing quick prototypes for demos, and also working on larger-scale software projects
  • 10 to 20% on-average travelwill be required


Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years
