What you'll do:
Lead and Inspire:Build, mentor, and lead multiple high-performing software engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and inclusivity.
Drive Technical and Business Strategy:Own the technical vision and strategy for your domain. You will work with your teams and partners to influence the broader business strategy, ensuring your technical roadmap aligns with and drives our business goals.
Champion Engineering and Operational Excellence:Lead the charge in building and operating highly available, scalable, and resilient systems. You will champion a "You Build It, You Own It" model, empowering your teams to take full ownership of their work, from design and development to deployment and operations.
Forge Strong Partnerships:Build and nurture strong relationships with cross-functional partners in product management, design, and other engineering teams to deliver on strategic goals and drive projects to successful completion.
Innovate and Grow:Stay at the forefront of technology trends and encourage your teams to experiment with and adopt new technologies. You will foster an environment of continuous learning and improvement, where engineers are empowered to grow and develop their skills.
What you'll bring:
Proven Leadership:Extensive experience in leading and managing multiple software engineering teams, with a track record of building and scaling high-performing organizations.
Technical Depth:A strong technical background in software development, with experience in modern, cloud-based architectures. You should be comfortable with a variety of technologies, including but not limited to: Java, Go, Python, AWS, and modern data technologies like Spark.
Strategic Mindset:The ability to think strategically and translate business needs into a clear technical vision and roadmap. You should be able to influence and align stakeholders at all levels.
Passion for People:A deep commitment to the growth and development of your team members. You should have a history of mentoring and coaching engineers and engineering managers to reach their full potential.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
At least 7 years of experience in software development
At least 5 years of experience in people management
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
10+ years of experience in software development
7+ years of experience leading teams in a cloud-native environment
5+ years of experience in an Agile environment
5+ years of experience with large-scale data platforms and distributed systems
