The role requires demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing team. Proven capabilities of setting up Multi country Finance Operations, managing process, month end close, account reconciliation and financial reporting processes

Your key responsibilities

  • Supporting kick-off discussions, understanding of technical aspect of delivery, FTE analysis
  • Analysis of Change impact assessment, and RACI
  • Leading the statutory reporting engagement
  • Collation & review of accounting information: data gather, GAAP bridging etc
  • Reviewing of process documentation, and checklists
  • Monitoring engagement economics
  • Attending weekly calls, tracking and closure of open items etc
  • Service delivery, client & escalation management
  • People management

Skills and attributes for success

  • Hands on experience in any of the ERP (Business Central preferred)
  • Experience in managing UK clients and their accounting process will be preferred
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong client and stakeholder management skills
  • Self-motivated, aspirational, and result oriented.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Chartered Accountant (CA/ACCA) or Cost Accountant CWA/Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with at least 12 to 15 years of post-qualification work experience with IFRS experience
  • In depth knowledge of IFRS is essential
  • Candidates with proven capabilities of setting up Multi country Finance Operations, process management, month end close, account reconciliation and financial reporting processes

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Exposure on International assignments on F&A Transitions, Auditing, Consulting, or other engagements is an added advantage for this role.

What we look for

  • End to end knowledge of accounting processes, accounting principles (IFRS, US GAAP).
  • Proficient in understanding of Statutory Reporting process, GAAP Bridging & Financial statement preparation.
  • Experience in process gap analysis, transition and delivery management.
  • Conducting basic statutory reporting review through IFRS/US GAAP checklists.
  • Experience in working across geographies-EMEIA/AMERICAS/APAC etc.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and Power Point
  • Very good work organization, initiative and commitment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must be motivated, self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills
