What You’ll Be Doing:
- Responsible for indirect purchases to support the facility.
- Full P2P (Procure-to-Pay) responsibility for assigned areas.
- Build relationships with new and existing suppliers.
- Implement risk and cost mitigation improvements.
- Develop and implement projects with support from team members.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Advanced skills in Excel in creating data with tables.
- ERP/MRP experience (Oracle preferred).
- Experience with vending and/or VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory).
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze and negotiate the total cost of ownership.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Self starter who in time will lead the sites on data.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and high-demanding environment.
- General knowledge of manufacturing processes and services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Purchasing and/or lean manufacturing certifications.
- Experience with quality and environmental regulations such as ISO 9001, 13485, 14001, and FDA.
- Project management techniques.
- Experience with low volume, high complexity automation and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations).
- Knowledge of sustainable supply chain techniques.
