Our Electrical Engineering team puts the spark into the full hardware development lifecycle, from concept to production. It takes experts in system architecture definition, design, analysis, prototyping, sourcing & the debugging and validation of layouts or routes to deliver state-of-the-art products for a changing world. What you’ll achieve
Engineer willbe responsible forthe verification and qualification of complexcopper cables andoptical fiber transceiver modulesin varioussystems, primarily in the 10 Gbit/s – 1600 Gbit/s range. This role requires collaboration withHW & SWPlatform, Solution, COMMs,Network SW, etc.,on all matters related to datacenter andGenAI-focused network compute, storage, and switch connectivity using optical and copper technologies.
You will:
Architects, designs, develops,modifies, and evaluates electronic parts, components, or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware systems.
Creates & analyzes equipment and test plan requirements to perform verification; conducts experimental tests and evaluates results.
swithArchitects, CTO and Product Managers toselect components based on analysis of specifications, cost, continuity of supply, and reliability.
Leads thereviewsoriginal design manufacturer and sub-tier vendor capability to support product development and production.
Ensures the manufacturability, reliability, and serviceability of designs, and designs integrate with the rest of product functions including mechanical and software.
Essential Requirements
BSEE with12+years of experience in Fiber Optic Communication and HW Product Development
Expert inhigh-speed pluggable transceiver form-factors and MSAs,SFP+/QSFP+/QSFP-DD/OSFP connectors,cagesand their mechanical and thermal design.
Expert inelectrical simulationtools,understanding of the different tools available for simulation.
Highly self-motivated with a strong multi-disciplinary background.
Good communication, presentationand documentation skills area must
Desirable Requirements
Expert of currentindustry players in cables and optics field.
Knowledge of Broadcom SDKis highly desired
