RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead software design, development, and refactoring across multiple scrum teams in an agile delivery environment.
• Ensure the solution meets functional and non-functional requirements.
• You will be expected to develop the most important and challenging parts of the system yourself and contribute to the Team as a developer.
• Define solution roadmap and take accountability for the key system design decisions.
• Complete the deliverables with high quality and within the set timeframe.
• Drive continuous improvements with focus on quality, usability, and maintainability.
• Establish a trusted partnership with our internal business and technical counterparts.
• Foster the DevOps mindset of acting as one team from delivery to operation.
• Become proficient with business processes implemented in the solution and look for opportunities to simplify.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Must Have:

• Academic degree in Information Technology or Software Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficient in writing cloud-based software using Java stack.
• Experience with cloud and microservices architectures.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL database engines.
• Proficient in development tools and practices such as Git workflows, Git Actions, Test Automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills in the English language
• Familiarity with agile project delivery (Scrum, Kanban)
• Ability to work in an international, virtual team, and hybrid office/remote working environment.
• Ability to guide and support other team members, providing technical guidance and assistance.

Nice to Have:

• Proficiency with Node.js, Spring Boot 3, Java 17.
• Experience with FIORI/UI5 and common UI frameworks like React, Vue.js, Angular.

• Experience with SAP BTP, SAP CRM / ERP, and ABAP, SAP HANA, SAP OData
• Experience with performance profiling and tuning using Dynatrace or similar tools.
• Experience with AI development tools like GitHub CoPilot.
• Experience with API Management
• Experience with database administration
• Experience with SAFe.

WORK EXPERIENCE

We are looking for at least 10+ years of professional work experience in software development with at least 2 years as a lead developer or solution architect.

We work 3 days a week in the office.
