Key job responsibilities
• Manage, design, and drive implementation of large-scale programs across multiple fulfillment building types.
• Work closely with internal customers, cross-functional teams to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, and timing for new initiatives
• Strategize, implement, and maintain standard work program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives (Safety, Quality and Delivery)
• Identify and communicate opportunities for design and specification improvements
• Develop and simplify processes and tools to improve execution efficiency across multiple programs
• Develop process tools and define Operations Engineering project lifecycle procedures, project plans, work instructions.
• Evaluate issues and propose actionable resolutions to design and execution and process problems.
• Drive standards and consistency across North America capital execution projects
• Create and communicate meaningful high-level reports to leadership regularly
• Ability to travel up to 50% to interact with internal and external business and technical leaders

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other relatable Engineering field
- 4+ years of experience as a project engineer, process engineer, project manager, manufacturing engineer or related occupation
- Experience with complex Material Handling Equipment or large equipment design, install, or program engineering based on Lean Manufacturing or Toyota Manufacturing System
- Experience with Microsoft Office products: Excel, Project and Outlook.
- Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM 360, etc.)


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Directly managed and responsible for large automation project budgets
- 3+ years of experience with material handling elements such as high-speed sortation, multiple conveyor subsystems, package lines and/or robotic work cells
- Exposure to Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing efforts, transportation/logistics and/or fulfillment/distribution centers
- General knowledge of FC operations
- Experienced with change management processes
- Experience in Technical Writing
