Software (SWA) comprises the definition, specification, and allocation of requirements from different sources utilising knowledge of systems engineering processes (specification & architecture). Contains processing of use case and feature requirements into conceptual models, operational scenarios, technical requirements, and functional description. Covers specification, design, implementation, and unit testing of Software (e.g. device drivers, microcode, hardware-related software & firmware) according to the requirements and architecture defined in the systems engineering process. Covers establishment and maintenance of Software Configuration Management (SCM) practices into software development projects, continuously building and integrating infrastructure tools and systems.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be BE/BTech/MTech in Computer Science/Electronics/Electrical/Information Science/Telecommunications/MCA
• Sound working knowledge on at least two of 5G/4G/3G/2G technologies
• 5+ years of SW Development work experience in domains of telecom, datacom and IP protocol stacks, as a strong individual contributor in one or more areas of networking, IP backhaul, IPv4, IPv6, IPSEC, TLS, Firewall, CMP, Fast path, SyncE
• Expert designer and programmer with good hands-on experience in C/C++ programming and concepts, scripting languages, and Unit and Module level testing in Linux/Unix embedded environments
• Design and Implement Test Strategy, Automation Strategy for the features assigned. Define Test environment, Test cases, Robot Test scripts for assigned features
• Ability to technically lead a feature team and exhibiting good problem-solving skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understanding product requirements, contribute to design and implementation of features in Transport domain in areas spanning 5G,4G,3G,2G for classical and cloud products of Nokia BTS.
• Skilled in resolving critical technical problems involving cross domain dependencies.
• Development of proof of concepts for introduction of new platform and actively contribute to product improvement areas like SW optimization, performance improvements etc
• Drive feature teams with good technical leadership
• Contribute towards areas of Innovation
