• Partner with product teams from concept to launch, ensuring legal and privacy compliance while fostering innovation
• Navigate the evolving legal landscape of data privacy, AI and consumer protection, advising Artlist.io on best practices and risk mitigation
• Draft and negotiate key legal agreements such as licenses, terms of use, data processing agreements, privacy policies, and vendor contracts
• Implement a robust data privacy program

Experience

• Proven experience of at least 3 years with in-house legal work at a tech/media company or a law firm serving similar clients
• Deep understanding and experience in key global privacy regulations, including GDPR, CPRA, etc.) and emerging global frameworks
• Adept at turning legalese into actionable guidance for product, engineering, and marketing teams
• Experience drafting and reviewing contracts (privacy policies, terms of service, EULAs, DPAs, etc.)
• Understanding of consumer law (bonus)
• Understanding of intellectual property law, particularly copyright and licensing (bonus)
