**Must be onsite in San Diego full time

Specifically, you will manage datacenter-related projects (buildouts, expansions, redesign, etc.). You will also join an exceptional PMO team and collaborate with top IT engineers.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 7+ years of Project Management-relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree.

9+ years of Project Management-relevant work experience without a Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities Include:

• Lead and manage datacenter and IT infrastructure projects from initiation to closure

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including multiple infrastructure teams and vendors

• Develop and maintain project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets

• Pay close attention to detail and ensure all project deliverables meet the highest quality standards

• Manage project risks, issues, and changes, and implement mitigation plans as needed

• Communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders

• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and plumbing trades to ensure smooth project execution

• Work with multiple infrastructure vendors to ensure on-time deliveries and installation

• Design and deliver high-quality PowerPoint presentations to communicate project updates and results to stakeholders

Preferred Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business, technology, project management or related field

• PMP or other project management certification

• At least 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on datacenter and IT infrastructure projects

• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices

• Strong verbal as well as written communication skills, especially for executive-level audiences

• General understanding of Data Center facilities and infrastructure (server, storage, networking) including power, HVAC, structured cabling, rack management and security

• Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills

• Willingness to take ownership of issues and ensure all interested parties are kept informed of progress in order to deliver solutions

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, while maintaining high attention to detail

• Proficiency in Excel modeling and PowerPoint design

• Technical knowledge and experience in datacenter operations or IT infrastructure

• Financial acumen or experience

Pay range:

$136,500.00 - $204,500.00
