Embedded Engineer Responsibilities

Technical Skills

Has knowledge/experience of C and C++ for embedded applications

May support other Engineers, Technicians and Associates to ensure project and product compliance.

Communication Skills

Interfaces with vendors and suppliers to ensure product and project compliance.

Communicates any non-compliance and the results of any internal project audits to pertinent parties.

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience and 2-4 years of relevant experience

Experience as software design engineer in either the Cellular or SATCOM sectors

Experience of Python or Linux

Exposure to agile methods and source control systems

Technical background in wireless communications and in particular modem/wireless transceiver architectures.

Knowledge of signal processing and DSP would be a distinct advantage.

Knowledge of software defined radio architectures would be an advantage
