Sales Development

Core tasks include:

  • Qualify leads received from marketing or other organizations and nurture opportunities
  • Generating incremental Opportunities through social selling, strategic & targeted prospecting into companies
  • Manage opportunities to ensure a good transition to implementation and account development
  • Handover qualified opportunities to sales with high quality, ensuring the best customer experience
  • Provides relationship management support and activity management via telephone, email and web to ensure customer satisfaction and goal achievement
  • Build and execute upon strategic outbound campaigns to obtain additional leads

  • responsible for delivery of outcome of assigned sub projects
  • works independently within given area of responsibility (within defined policies and processes)
  • contributes to milestones

Complexity

  • contributes and works on sub projects and activities with moderate level of complexity

  • Decisions/solutions can essentially enhance existing systems & processes

  • strong competence with various tools, procedures, programming languages used to accomplish the job

  • builds collaborative work relationships with similar functions across SAP
  • communicates clearly, in a way that others can understand within defined processes & policies
  • communicates relevant messages in a timely manner and with constructive feedback to colleagues & managers

Key Responsibilities
include but not limited to:

  • Maintain a strategic focus by increasing coverage of Public Cloud and other priority solutions, growing SAP’s LoB footprint among new and existing customers.
  • Adopt and utilize digital tools to create executive digital-first, multi-touch campaigns, and diligently document and log all execution and lead/opportunity management.
  • Leverage the digital team by working collaboratively within defined territories, ensuring smooth handover of qualified opportunities, and providing executive support to Digital Sales.
  • Collaborate closely with Digital Sales and Digital Demand Managers to align efforts and strategies for seamless customer engagement and increased adoption.
  • Ensure effective use of Outreach for accessing standard digital tools to enhance productivity and customer engagement.
