Your key responsibilities

  • Develop and refine project management methodologies and practices.
  • Providing guidance and support to Project Managers and Associate Project Managers.
  • Overseeing the execution of larger and more intricate projects, particularly those with significant visibility or strategic value.
  • Create a plan across the lifecycle of the project and report it on regular basis.
  • Collaborating with various departments to ensure that projects are in sync with corporate objectives.
  • Directing change management initiatives for projects that affect multiple departments or systems.
  • Engaging with top-tier stakeholders and executive leaders, offering strategic insights and securing support.
  • Continually assessing project progress against expected benchmarks, using both formal and informal techniques to gain project insights.
  • Generating comprehensive project documentation that details product functionalities and methodologies for future use and quality improvement.
  • Communicating project updates to stakeholders and creating clear, well-organized summaries from complex data.
  • Leading software development initiatives by working closely with users, investigating problem areas, and following the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Hands-on with Jira, Confluence, MS-Project, and other similar tools.
  • Assuming complete accountability for the applications and systems after deployment.
  • Managing the entire Service Delivery Lifecycle to deliver solid solutions for new systems, enhancements, and routine application upkeep.
  • Evaluating, designing, building, or reviewing new and enhanced components or functionalities.
  • Serving as the chief IT intermediary for multiple interfacing applications, third-party vendors, and IT executives.
  • Directing technical software development teams to achieve project goals.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management or a related field.
  • 12-13 years of software development industry experience
  • 6 to 8 years of experience in project management
  • Strong 5-6 years of experience in Agile delivery methodologies
  • Knowledge of one more industry standard Agile PM tools – Jira /Trello/Smartsheet confluence
  • Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
  • Experience in leading the teams
  • Knowledge on process methodologies – Agile/frameworks like CMMI
  • Provide support to Consulting client facing teams & onshore finance/engagement teams by providing timely reports & insights.
  • Ensure proper and efficient team communications.
  • Prepares reports & Perform quality review of reports generated.
  • Ensure that process documentation is done and archived.
  • Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to plan ahead and anticipate potential problems before they arise
  • CSM/ SAFe Agilist / SAFe Scrum Master / PMI-ACP /PSM/ A-CSM
