Your Role and Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and optimization of MicroStrategy applications, including reports, dashboards, and APIs, with a focus on cloud environments.
  • Configure, tune, and customize MicroStrategy servers for optimal performance.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries to enhance BI solutions.
  • Mentor junior BI developers and oversee MicroStrategy development efforts.
  • Implement Agile software development practices, including Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Integrate DevOps and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, Docker/Kubernetes, and testing tools like JMeter.
  • Drive MicroStrategy SDK implementations and customizations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable and maintainable BI solutions.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise
● Minimum of 5 years’ experience with designing and developing data dissemination
applications or functions using MicroStrategy (i.e. reports, dashboard, APIs,
etc.). Experience in a cloud environment is preferred.
● Minimum of 5 years’ experience with SQL Coding and Optimization.
● Minimum of 3 years’ experience of MicroStrategy server configuration, performance tuning
and customization
● Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Agile software development including using open
source technology.
● Minimum of 2 years’ of leading the MicroStrategy development, with demonstratedMicroStrategy work
● Minimum of 3 years’ experience in DevOps and CI/CD concepts using tools such as
Jenkins, GitHub, Docker/Kubernetes, and testing tools such as JMeter.
● Demonstrated experience understanding and participating in MicroStrategy SDK● Demonstrated experience delivering Agile software solutions using best practices such as
Test-Driven Development (TDD) or Adaptable Software Design.

The ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance from the US Federal government
