As a, you’ll have the opportunity to provide administrative / office management support to include sorting and distributing mail, office equipment maintenance, ordering office supplies, and updating and compiling data and reports in excel spreadsheets.
Job Responsibilities:
- Office Assistant with administration/office management knowledge to handle a variety of tasks throughout the day.
- Sorting & distributing mail to the division.
- Office Equipment Maintenance (faxes, copy machine, printers).
- Ordering of office supplies & office equipment supplies.
- Monitoring vehicle service maintenance and servicing when needed.
- Update, compile data and reports in excel spreadsheets with the highest level of proficiency. File organization and maintenance.
- Performs a variety of routine tasks under general supervision.
- Decision-making is required within a well-defined scope of responsibilities. Duties may involve a variety of moderately complex office support functions. Working knowledge of PCs and some software proficiency is generally required at this level. Performs a variety of administrative/clerical support tasks for a specific project, business, or technical unit.
- Gathers, compiles, tracks and reports on information relevant to project assignment from multiple sources: Sets up and maintains files, refers callers, arranges meetings and conferences,
- receives, refers and answers mail: Reviews drafts and finished documents for grammar usage: Uses personal computer to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations: Compiles, reviews, and analyzes data: May design processes to enhance work flow.
- 3-5 years of experience
- HS graduate or equivalent required with specialized training or education may be substituted.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products.
- Valid Driver's license
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
- AA Degree
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:
The physical and environmental demands required to perform the essential duties of this position include standing, walking, sitting, coordination, balance and agility demands, which may include the ability to stoop, kneel, squat, grasp, reach, perform repetitive hand movements. Additional demands may involve a specific level of dexterity, grip strength, climbing and cardiorespiratory demands. The work areas may be indoor, outdoor, have loud noise, active machinery, high pressure fluid systems, electrical equipment, confined spaces, heights and depths, fumes, air borne particles, noxious gases, and chemicals. The use of appropriate safety equipment will be mandatory in these areas to prevent hazardous contact.
