Description
As a software integrity engineer, you will work closely with the audio driver engineering, build automation, and quality assurance teams, and duties will include scripting and triaging software failures, enforcing automation test stability, developing code quality metric for audio driver repos, creating weekly reports and dashboards for code coverage, maintaining testing infrastructure. A successful candidate will also write documentation of test operations and leverage domain expertise to work with audio engineers to solve identified issues.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of SW development and/or tools and automation experience
  • Expert level Python programmer
  • Highly competent with the overall functions of scientific computation, data acquisition, processing, and presentation
  • Familiar with git version control system
  • Possess a deep understanding of Software testing and QA methodologies
  • Creative thinking and strong problem solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Experience investigating and triaging software build failures
  • Thrives in a dynamic, collaborative team environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience in shell scripting a plus
  • Experience with embedded system a plus
  • Experience with Xcode a plus
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $250,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
