Description
As a Media Streaming Engineer, you will be responsible for prototyping breakthrough ideas, developing features & APIs, contributing to systems design, and optimizing performance for streaming media’s machine learning frameworks. Your creativity will help shape protocols, implementations, and services that deliver cutting-edge multimedia experiences to our customers. To succeed in this role, you must be versatile, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and work seamlessly with a diverse group of people, handling ambiguities with ease.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Software development experience in one or more of the following: Swift, Objective-C, C
  • Experience in developing and maintaining APIs for embedded platforms
  • Deep understanding of operating systems, memory management and multi-threaded programming
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent degree/experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent analytical, programming, and debugging skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Passion for learning new technologies and eagerness to absorb new concepts
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly cross-functional team environment
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $121,909 and $214,500 annualized, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
