Minimum qualifications:
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 15 years of experience in product management including developing outcome based product outlook/northstars, strategies, and roadmaps, Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), and Market Requirements Documents (MRDs)
- Experience leading geographically distributed teams and working with cross-functional partners
- Experience with operating system and application development tools and frameworks
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working in, navigating, and leading within a complex regulatory environment
- Ability to innovate beyond the status quo while also leading and driving high quality execution in complex operating systems similar to Android
- Ability to represent Google externally as the domain expert for their area, working closely with Android’s OEMs and other ecosystem partners
- Ability to understand and respond to the needs of different customers
- Ability to clearly and concisely communicate with senior executives both internally and externally
- Excellent collaboration and partnering skills, specifically in flat, functionally-oriented organizations
