Your key responsibilities:
- Design and architect cloud infrastructure and services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) across major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Lead cloud adoption strategies including migration, modernization, and cloud-native application development
- Develop secure, reliable, and cost-efficient architectures that meet business and technical requirements
- Establish cloud governance frameworks, policies, and best practices for security, compliance, and cost optimization
- Collaborate with application, data, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Guide the implementation of CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), and Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, ARM)
- Evaluate and select appropriate cloud technologies and tools aligned with enterprise architecture standards
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, offering insights on cloud trends, risks, and innovation opportunities
Skills & attributes for success:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline
- 5–10 years of experience in IT infrastructure and cloud architecture roles
- Deep expertise in one or more public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), with relevant certifications preferred
- Strong knowledge of cloud security principles, networking, identity management, and compliance (e.g., ISO27001, MAS TRM)
- Experience with cloud migration strategies, hybrid architectures, and multi-cloud environments
- Familiarity with microservices architecture, serverless computing, container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proficient in scripting or infrastructure automation (e.g., Python, Bash, Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, GCP Professional Cloud Architect)
- Familiarity with enterprise integration, API management, and data platform architecture
- Experience in Agile/DevOps environments
- Understanding of FinOps or cost governance practices in cloud
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Experience working with Singapore public sector clients.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
