The role will manage through influence, partnering with professionals within the Governance & Architecture group, across Risk, the Enterprise Chief Data Office and Enterprise Architecture.A good understanding of the industry, direct competitors' equivalent concepts is necessary in order to contribute to the objectives of this area.

The role requires a thorough understanding of strategic direction of the function within the relevant part of the business, combined with a solid conceptual/practical grounding in both the function and/or area of expertise and related subject areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as Risk's lead for the determination and ongoing business as usual process of managing Risk's business processes
  • Act as Risk's lead for the determination and ongoing business as usual process of managing Risk's business decision framework
  • Developing methodologies to support Risk's prioritisation of data into the enterprise data programme
  • Identify risk factors e.g. data quality issues, manual touch points against each process and business decision


Qualifications:

  • 15+ years experience
  • Accomplished change leader, can execute flawlessly in ambiguous and changing environments and demonstrates both a flexible and resilient approach
  • Must possess vision and passion for the transformation of the consumer banking business, with high energy
  • Managerial experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across multiple stakeholders and organizations – pushes self and colleagues to higher levels of performance by actively listening and engaging in constructive dialogue.
  • Treats people with respect and assumes the intentions of others are based on common purpose and shared goals
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and drive large scale, complex business initiatives –taking initiatives from concept to execution.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with process-oriented execution, with a high attention to detail and quality on both internal team work and external products delivered to the market
  • Strategic, analytical, and systematic thinker who consistently pushes the status quo and constructively challenges the team to drive change and continuous improvement and innovation


Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
