Senior Software Developer – Broadband Edge technologies

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of hands-on software development experience.
  • Strong communication skills — both written and verbal — with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in C and C++ programming, with solid debugging expertise.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python and other relevant scripting languages.
  • Proven experience in developing networking software for carrier-grade systems.
  • Proficient in Unix/Linux environments, including experience with:
  • User-space and kernel-space programming
  • Socket programming
  • Inter-process communication (IPC)
  • Solid understanding and practical experience in the development of large-scale, multi-core router or switch architectures.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Broadband Edge technologies and protocols such as DHCP, PPPoE, L2TP, etc.
  • Familiarity with cloud deployment environments, including virtual machines, containers, orchestration frameworks, and system services.
  • Hands-on experience with open-source frameworks and interfaces such as gRPC, gNMI, and OpenConfig.
  • Comfortable working with version control and code review tools such as Git, Subversion, Gerrit, and static analysis tools like Coverity.
  • Experience with industry-standard build and integration tools.
