Description
- Hands-on building & handling systems validation build per instructions.- Perform sanity tests, maintain Firmware/SW update and procedures.- Setup test equipment for data capturing & assist Engineers onsite.- Analyze test result, working with Vendor to resolve issues repair & replace units- Documentation and update procedures throughout products cycle.- Rework, touch-up, and solder passive components.- Assist on-site, walk-in testing and solving from lab team and engineers.- Provide methods and actions to remedy efficiency and streamline processes.- Help remote users swapping boards, SOCs and adjust thermal stations.- Read/Understand schematic to assist ECOs changes.- Open door and escort vendor, facilities for maintenance.- Swiftly monitor and address issues incoming from email, slack and SMS.
Key Qualifications
- Knowledge Operating Systems (Mac, Win, and Linux), PCs and Peripherals.
- Knowledge of Lab Test Equipment (Oscilloscope, LA, Metrology equipment.
- Knowledge of Soldering and Reworking boards Components.
- Must be Hands-On with all Lab related tasks, proficiency with test measurement, analyze and communicate with team members.
- Ability to work independently, under high pressure in a multifaceted environment with concurrent projects.
- Self-motivated, problem-solver alone or with team member group tasks.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience.
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $38.45 and $66.00/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
